Privacy Policy
What we collect.
What we don’t.
Why it matters.
This policy is written for attorneys who will actually read it. No legal padding. No definitions section that doubles the length. Just the facts about how this website handles data.
Last updated: March 22, 2026
This policy covers builtbycameron.com — not your practice.
The system built by Cameron for your practice runs on your own dedicated server. Your client data — contacts, case notes, intake forms, documents, billing records — stays on your server. I cannot access it. This privacy policy applies only to what happens when visitors browse builtbycameron.com.
I never see your client data. That’s the architecture. Read how it works
What We Collect
One thing.
Contact form submissions.
When you fill out the contact form on this site, we collect the information you provide:
Name
to address you by name in my reply
Email address
to respond to your inquiry
Practice type
so I can give you relevant information
Message
what you wrote to me
That’s it. We use contact form data to respond to your inquiry and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your information, or share it with anyone.
What We Don’t Collect
No tracking.
No analytics.
Not yet.
This site currently runs no analytics platform, no advertising pixels, and no third-party tracking scripts. There are no cookies dropped on your browser to identify you across the web.
If that changes — for example, if we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand how the site is used — this policy will be updated before that happens, and the change will be noted clearly.
- No tracking cookies
- No analytics (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or similar)
- No advertising pixels (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn)
- No session recording tools (Hotjar, FullStory, etc.)
- No fingerprinting
- No third-party embeds that track visitors
Third-Party Services
One vendor.
Cloudflare.
builtbycameron.com sits behind Cloudflare, which handles DNS resolution, DDoS protection, and CDN delivery. When your browser requests this site, the request passes through Cloudflare’s network.
Cloudflare may log standard request metadata — IP addresses, browser type, request timestamps — as part of its security and delivery infrastructure. This is outside our direct control. Cloudflare’s privacy policy governs what they do with that data: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
No other third-party vendors currently receive data about visitors to this site.
Where contact form data goes
When you submit a contact form, the data is sent to Cameron directly via email. It is not stored in a database on this marketing site. It is not transmitted to a CRM or marketing platform. It goes to an inbox and is used to reply to you.
Your Data
Retention and deletion.
How long we keep contact inquiries
Contact form submissions are retained in email for as long as the correspondence is relevant — typically the duration of any business conversation and a reasonable period after. We do not maintain a separate contact database from this form.
How to request deletion
Email cameron@builtbycameron.com with the subject line “Data deletion request.” Identify yourself and the inquiry you submitted. We will confirm deletion in writing within 10 business days.
There is no form to fill out. No automated process. Just an email. We’ll handle it.
Data Sales and Sharing
We don’t sell data.
We don’t share data.
Built by Cameron LLC does not sell personal information. We do not share contact form data with marketing platforms, advertising networks, data brokers, or any third parties.
The only circumstances in which data could be shared are if required by law (a court order or subpoena), or if the business were acquired — in which case any acquirer would be bound by this policy.
One standard, applied twice
The same privacy standard that governs your client data in the practice system applies here: we collect the minimum we need, we use it only for the purpose it was given, and we don’t hand it to anyone else. That’s the standard. It applies to your clients. It applies to you.
Questions
Questions about this policy?
If something in this policy is unclear, or you have a question about how your data is handled, email Cameron directly:
This policy may be updated as the site changes. Material changes will be reflected in a new “Last updated” date at the top. Because we collect no contact information for marketing purposes, we have no way to notify you of changes — checking back occasionally is the right approach.
